Final round Interregional Championship in Ottobiano

On Sunday, September 24, the fourth and final round of the Lombardy – Piedmont – Liguria Interregional Championship took place at the Ottobiano (PV) track.

In SM AMA, Lorenzo Surace #44, after qualifying fourth in his category, managed to finish third and first in the respective races. Surace made it to the podium for the day with an excellent second place. Surace finished the Championship with a P4 in Lombardy.

In the SM5 Over category qualifiers, Alessandro Mantia #341 secured the fastest time and finished both heats in first place in his category. In the final Championship standings, Mantia clinched first place and was crowned regional champion of Lombardy.

In SM1 Fast, Mattia Negri #70 clocked the fourth fastest time in qualifying. He then finished the races in fourth and third position respectively, securing third place for the day. Negri finished the Championship with a P2 in Lombardy.

In SM1 Pro, Luca Dodaro #270, after qualifying sixth, finished the races in fourth and fifth position after a crash in race two. He concluded the Championship with a P1 in Liguria.

In the SM4 category, Fabiano Bartoli #51 failed to find the right rhythm on the Pavese track and, after the sixteenth fastest qualifying time, finished the heats in thirteenth and sixteenth position respectively.

Dario Cogliano #15 was further back: after the twenty-second fastest time in qualifying, he was involved in a collision in race one and finished the heat in twenty-seventh position; in race two he finished in twenty-first place. In the final Championship standings, Cogliano finished with a P4 in Liguria while Bartoli finished with a P7 in Lombardy.
