Everyone to Sestriere for the penultimate stage!

On Sunday, August 6, the penultimate round of the 2017 Italian Supermoto Championship took place in the beautiful setting of Sestriere.

Finally, the 'Supermoto Circus' left the circuits for a city track in front of the Olympic Village of the renowned tourist resort. This allowed for a good turnout of the public, who formed the backdrop for the beautiful races held on Sunday afternoon.

Regarding the FRT riders, Fabrizio Bartolini #110 delivered a good performance in the Supermoto category; after difficult qualifiers in the morning rain, he managed to finish both races in sixth place.

Riccardo Lodigiani #822 faced more difficulties. After positive free practice sessions on Saturday held in dry conditions, on Sunday he had to contend with rain during timed practice and some discomfort due to the altitude, ultimately finishing ninth on the day.

In the Under 24 category, Fabio Mazzolai #247 crashed during Saturday's practice and finished Sunday in seventh place overall.

After the summer break, the team looks forward to seeing you at the last Italian Championship race in Magione on September 3rd.

See you soon
