Third round of the Italian Championship in Busca (CN)

On Sunday, June 2nd, the third round of the Italian Supermoto Championship took place in Busca (CN), a track characterized by an asphalt off-road section.

Despite the absence of top riders Andrea Occhini #51, who is recovering after a bad fall in Viterbo, and Fabrizio Bartolini #110, injured during training but set to return in Pomposa, the team's colors were defended by the rest of the riders.

In the S4 category, young Iacopo Arduini #05 continues to deliver excellent performances: after a fourth place in timed practice, in race 1 'Iaki' managed to move up one position, finishing in third place. Race 2 was very competitive: Iacopo started well, immediately gaining third position behind Traversa and Vandi. After the latter's slide, Arduini moved into second place, which he maintained until the end of the race. He then stood on the third step of the podium for the day.

Marzio Ravaioli #64, in the S5 category, after gaining the fourth fastest time in timed practice, achieved a fifth place in race 1 and a good third place in race 2, immediately behind Chucchietti and Furega. He finished fourth overall for the day, just off the podium.

In S2, Marko Ukota #36, starting from seventh position after timed practice, finished ninth in race 1, while in race 2 he made a great comeback to finish fifth. He thus secured seventh place overall for the day.

Next round on June 23rd at the Pomposa Circuit (FE).

Nicola Ferranti Team Manager

'Despite the absence of Bartolini and Occhini due to injury, we had good races and worked in the best possible way. Now Pomposa awaits us, where Bicio will also be back with us after this short break.'
