Engines are warming up for the first round of the Italian Championship in Ortona

On Sunday, April 10th, the first round of the Italian Supermoto Championship will take place in Ortona.

The team's flag bearers will be three: Italian and European Champion Marco Malone, once again riding the 2022 Honda CRF 450, joined by new entry Guido Cilla, both entered in the S4 on-road category.

The very young Andrea Benvenuti is also confirmed in the S Junior category on his KTM 85, which this year will see him also engaged in the off-road section for some stages.

The Championship will then continue on May 1st in Ottobiano, June 12th in Busca, July 3rd in Viterbo, August 7th in Ortona, and, to conclude, the double kart track and racetrack round on the weekend of September 3rd and 4th in Pomposa.

This year, we are also fielding several riders in the regional championships: on April 16th and 17th, we will be in Busca for the first round of the Lombardy Piedmont Liguria Regional Championship, coinciding with the first round of the European S4 Championship.

All FRT2 flag bearers for the regional championship are confirmed: in the S4 category, we again find Fabiano Bartoli, Paolo Volpi, Lorenzo Surace, and Alessandro Mantia also moves to this category; in S2, the FRT2 flag bearer Alessandro Lauri remains.
