Sixth and Seventh Round Italian Championship in Pomposa
On Saturday, September 3rd and Sunday, September 4th, the Italian Supermoto Championship concluded at the Pomposa Circuit (FE). A two-day event with races held at the historic kart track on Saturday and the racetrack on Sunday.
On Saturday in the S Junior category with open dirt sections, Andrea Benvenuti secured second place in qualifying. In race one, he finished second, while in race two, he achieved a brilliant heat victory, allowing him to reclaim the red plate as the leader.

In the S4 category, Malone had to settle for ninth in qualifying; Cilla was further back in twenty-third.
In race one, Malone managed to gain positions, finishing sixth, while in the second heat, he finished eighth. Cilla, however, couldn't find the right feeling with the track in Ferrara and finished both heats in twenty-second place.

On Sunday, the scenery changed with the move to the racetrack: in S4, after a fifth place in qualifying, Malone finished both heats in third position.
Guido Cilla, starting from eleventh in qualifying, finished the two heats in fourteenth and tenth position respectively.

The day concluded with Malone in second place and Cilla in eleventh in the overall standings.

The season ended with Marco Malone in second place and Guido Cilla in twelfth place in the S4 category.
In SJunior, after two hard-fought races, Andrea Benvenuti finished with two third places and third position on the day. Andrea concluded the season in second place in the overall standings, winning the silver medal just four points from the top.

Gilda Benazzi, Team Principal, commented on the end of the season: "It was a very demanding year, congratulations to Benvenuti for the excellent result achieved. It's a shame about Malone, we could have expressed our potential better. Kudos also to Cilla, who has improved compared to last year."
The season is not over yet: upcoming events on September 24th and 25th for the Lombardy Interregional in Castelletto di Branduzzo, coinciding with the European S Junior and World Championship races; the Trofeo delle Regioni in Ortona on October 2nd. See you soon and Full Throttle!
