Second Round of the Italian Supermoto Internationals in Viterbo
On Sunday, May 13, the second round of the Italian Supermoto Championship took place at the International Circuit of Viterbo.
In the S1 category, Andrea Occhini #51, sixth in qualifying, shone in race 1 with a fifth place conquered ahead of Edgardo Borella after a growing and hard-fought race. Unlucky in race 2, however, with a crash on the sixth lap when he was in fifth position and fighting for the leading positions.
Fabrizio Bartolini #110, who started in the fifth row, had more difficulties, finishing race 1 in thirteenth position and race 2 in tenth, unable to find the right feeling with the track.
Marzio Ravaioli #64's excellent performance in the S5 category, returning to racing after a break, is worth mentioning. A victory in race 1 and a third place in race 2 allowed him to conquer first place overall for the day.
In S3, Fabio Mazzolai also took third place overall for the day despite two crashes that saw him finish seventh in race 1 and eighth in race 2.

'A weekend at one of the most beautiful tracks in the Championship, not good qualifying with a fifteenth place that complicates the day.
