ROUND # 2 Italian Supermoto Championship 2017 in Ottobiano (PV)

On Sunday, March 26, the second stage of the Italian Supermoto Championship was held at the South Milano track in Ottobiano (PV). After the night's rain, the first free practice sessions in the morning were run without the dirt section due to its impassability. It was then reopened in the late morning thanks to improved weather conditions.

Under 24 Category: Fabio Mazzolai #247 managed to achieve an excellent second place in timed practice. He was less fortunate during the races, where he finished in sixth place in both race 1 and race 2.

Supermoto Category: timed practice resulted in a tenth place for Fabrizio Bartolini #110 and a twelfth place for Riccardo Lodigiani #822. In race 1, Bartolini managed to recover two positions, finishing the race in ninth place, and Lodigiani finished in eleventh place. In race 2, Lodigiani finished in eleventh position, while Bartolini was twelfth. There are good prospects for improvement in the next race for both riders who are doing a good job and have a good feeling with the bike. A special mention goes to Lodigiani, who competed for the first time against world-class riders.

Veteran Category: new entry Marzio Ravaioli #64 finished fourth in both heats and claimed the red plate in the Veteran category.

Next event: April 30th at the Pomposa Circuit (San Giuseppe di Comacchio FE) for the third round.
