Fifth Round of the Italian Supermoto Championship in Latina
On Sunday, July 14, the fifth round of the Italian Supermoto Championship took place at the Circuito il Sagittario in Latina. The FRT 2 Racing riders performed well in the different categories.

In S1, Fabrizio Bartolini #110, recovering from a shoulder injury, finished race 1 in fifth position and race 2 in eighth due to a fall. Fabrizio finished seventh overall in the International standings and fifth in the Italian standings.

In S4, Iacopo Arduini #05 had a great race, finishing fourth in race 1 and second in race 2 to take second place on the podium. Iacopo is now in second place in the championship standings.

A challenging race for teammate Giancarlo Liberati #39: in race 1, on the first lap, due to a fall, he found himself at the back but recovered to fourteenth place. In race 2, he finished fourth. Seventh in the overall standings for the day and currently sixth in the Championship standings.

In the S5 category, Marzio Ravaioli #64 finished a good race 1 in fourth position and race 2 in fifth due to contact. He remains third in the championship standings.

In S2, Marko Ukota #36 finished seventh overall for the day after a seventh place in race 1 and a sixth in race 2. Marko is fifth in the championship.
The next event is the season finale in Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV) on August 31st and September 1st, with two days of intense racing.
Fabrizio Bartolini #110
'During qualifying, I felt good but couldn't get a very satisfactory time; I was only 6th on the grid, 6 tenths off the leader. Unfortunately, the inside starting position penalized me. In race 1, I started sixth, overtook D'Addato, and maintained 5th place until the end of the heat, fighting until the end with Borella. In race 2, contact with another rider in the dirt section on the first lap caused a fall, forcing me to restart from behind. I closed the gap but didn't go beyond 8th position. However, my lap times were among the fastest. I finished the weekend with a fifth position in the Italian championship standings and with a significantly improved physical condition. Thanks, as always, to my team, and see you in Castelletto di Branduzzo for the last double event of the Italian Internationals.'
Nicola Ferranti Team Manager
'We are almost at the end of the championship, and we can say that we are satisfied with the work done so far. We were unlucky in some respects, but the team has grown a lot.
Too bad for Bartolini's fall in race 2, which compromised what could have been a great race. In S4, Arduini is maintaining consistency in his progress. See you in Castelletto for the final round.
