First stage Interregional Championship Busca

The first round of the Interregional Championship Lombardy - Piedmont - Liguria was held on Sunday, March 26, at the Busca (CN) track.

It was a cold day with some rain showers, but these did not compromise the races.

In the SM4 category, morning qualifications secured the ninth grid position for Fabiano Bartoli #51 and twelfth for Dario Cogliano #15, while wild card Guido Cilla #173 achieved the second-fastest time.

In race 1, Cilla led from start to finish, crossing the finish line in first place. Cogliano recovered two positions, finishing tenth, while Bartoli made a mistake and finished sixteenth.

In the second heat, Cilla once again started in the lead and maintained his position to finish the race. Unfortunately, Cogliano crashed on the first lap and finished sixteenth.

Bartoli performed well, climbing to seventh position.

In SM Fast category qualifications, Mattia Negri #70 and Lorenzo Surace #44 recorded the third and seventh fastest times respectively. In the race, Negri managed to gain one position and finished second in both heats, while Lorenzo Surace finished seventh.

In the SM5 Over category, Alessandro Mantia #341 immediately dominated with the fastest time in qualifications and went on to win both heats, securing an overall first-place finish for the day.
