First round of the Interregional Championship in Ottobiano
On Sunday, April 28th, the first round of the Lombardy Piedmont Liguria Interregional Championship took place at the South track in Ottobiano (PV).
The day was marked by rain and humid weather, conditions that prevented racing on the off-road section of the track.

An excellent race for Alessandro Mantia #341 who managed to secure first place in the SM5 category after two fiercely contested heats filled with overtakes and slides.

In the SM AMA category, Lorenzo Surace #44 clinched second place on the day after two good heats and an excellent second fastest time in qualifying. Fabiano Bartoli #51 was just one step away from the podium, finishing in fourth position on the day.

In SM1 Fast, Mattia Negri #70 struggled to find his rhythm and finished the day in fourth position.

In the SM4 category, Dario Cogliano #15 and newcomer Renato Cuomo #469 struggled significantly in both heats: Cogliano was forced to retire after a fall in race one and finished twelfth in race two. Cuomo, on the other hand, finished both heats in thirteenth position.

Upcoming events:
May 5th in Ottobiano for the second race of the Italian Championship.
May 26th in Busca for the second race of the Interregional Championship.
See you soon and good luck!
