Malone conquers Spain and takes the lead in the European Championship

This weekend, the second round of the European Championship took place at the A Magdalena Circuit in Forcarei, Spain.

It was a very demanding weekend due to the long journey and a track where they had never raced before.

On Saturday, timed practice took place in the rain, but Marco Malone still managed to snatch pole position ahead of Vandi and Sanchioni's TMs.

On Sunday, in Race 1, Malone, with a lightning-fast start, immediately took the lead and finished the race with a 3.2-second lead over local Spanish rider Ruiz Jimenez.

In Race 2, Marco was unable to replicate the start of the first heat but immediately tucked in behind the Vandi-Sanchioni duo. The latter crashed, making way for Malone, who also overtook Vandi on the ninth lap and led the race until the checkered flag.

Malone thus secured first place of the day and the red plate as leader of the Championship standings with an 11-point lead over Vandi. The last European race will be held in Castelletto on October 17th.

Next race scheduled for Sunday, September 12th in Latina for the fifth round of the Italian Championship.

See you soon and... GAS!!!
