Malone also wins the S4 European Championship in Castelletto di Branduzzo
Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October saw the last race weekend of the 2021 season with the final round of the European and World Championship, held concurrently with the Lombardy-Piedmont and Liguria Interregional Championship, once again in Castelletto di Branduzzo (PV).

On Saturday, the S4 European Championship qualifying sessions took place: Marco Malone secured the fifth fastest time, 0.361 seconds behind leader Kevin Vandi.
Sunday's races were characterized by a fast pace with the presence of the two wild cards Farioli and Morosi: Malone finished race one in fifth position and race two in sixth, still managing to win the European Championship title thanks to three victories in the previous heats.

Team Principal Gilda Benazzi commented on the victory: "We achieved both of the goals we had set for ourselves. This weekend was very demanding, but we still managed to deliver and bring home the title with Marco. We thank all our sponsors and supporters for this year full of achievements. Now, we won't waste any time and will get to work for the 2022 season."

We also want to highlight the excellent performances of our riders competing in the Interregional Championship this weekend: in the S2 Lombardy category, Alessandro Lauri secured a good third place for the day and finished the season in fourth place in the overall standings. In the S4 Lombardy category, Fabiano Bartoli concluded with an excellent second position in the final Championship standings, followed in fifth place by rookie Lorenzo Surace and in seventh place by Paolo Volpi. Wild card Andrea Benvenuti also delivered an excellent performance in the junior category, finishing the race with a second place for the day.
See you soon and... full throttle!
