Challenging race for Team FRT Racing 2 riders in Ottobiano (PV), Andrea Occhini 7th and Fabrizio B

First round of the Italian Supermoto Championship with 'unstable' weather conditions that made the race day difficult.

Andrea Occhini, FRT's new rider, debuted in the S1 category. Starting in seventh place on the grid after the morning's timed practice, he completed both heats maintaining seventh position despite a less-than-perfect start in race 1.

Also in the S1 category, teammate Fabrizio Bartolini finished the first heat in eleventh position and the second in thirteenth, competing in both races not at his full physical fitness.

Also noteworthy is Fabio Mazzolai's performance in the S3 category, who, after a fall in the morning's timed practice due to rain, secured fourth place for the day.

Andrea Occhini #51 (FRT RACING 2 Team) 7th

"First round of the Internazionali d'Italia at Ottobiano. We lacked a bit of race pace, but we had fun."

Fabrizio Bartolini #110 (FRT RACING 2 Team) 12th

"I started well in the first heat, but I still lack the right pace. The pain in my left shoulder from a small injury affected my performance, but I plan to recover for Viterbo."
