ITALIAN SUPERMOTO CHAMPIONSHIP 2020 FIFTH AND SIXTH ROUND POMPOSA

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October, the fifth and sixth races of the Italian Championship were held at the Pomposa Circuit in San Giuseppe di Comacchio (FE). The weekend was characterized by rain and fog on Saturday and variable weather on Sunday.

The races were again broadcast live on Offroad Pro Racing's YouTube channel with a large number of views from the home audience.

In the S1 category, on Saturday a re-found Gioele Filippetti #97 reached the podium, taking second place in the Italian championship and third in the Internationals. Following him, Edgardo Borella #20 secured fourth place in the Italian and fifth in the Internationals. Fabrizio Bartolini #05 was further back with a sixth place in the Italian and a seventh in the Internationals.

The Sunday race saw a change in perspective, with Borella #20 taking second place in the Italian standings and third in the Internationals. Filippetti #97 finished with a fifth place in the Italian and a sixth in the Internationals. Bartolini #5 took seventh place in both standings.

In the S4 category, Iacopo Arduini #05 achieved a fourth place on Saturday and an eighth on Sunday. Iacopo secured third position in the final category standings.

It was a difficult weekend for Giacomo Bolognesi #31, who finished sixth on Saturday and seventh on Sunday. He secured fourth position in the final S3 category standings.

This weekend, Andrea Benvenuti #263, 9 years old, also raced with us in the Junior 85 category and placed seventh and sixth respectively.

"It was a difficult year, this virus affected the performance of activities, but it was a year full of emotions, struggles, ups and downs. We have grown and will draw further insights and ideas to restart in 2021 with renewed strength," comments team manager Nicola Ferranti.
